DESCRIPTION

Product: Uva Ursi Leaves (Bear Berry)
Latin Name: Arctostaphylos uva-ursi syn. Arctostaphylos officinalis, Arbutus uva-ursi, Uva-ursi procumbens.
Plant Family: Ericaceae

Other Names: Common Bearberry, Bears Grape, Kinnikinnick, Pinemat Manzanita, Mountain Box, Mountain Cranberry & Uva del Oso.

Description: Due to the high tannin content in Uva Ursi Leaves, this particular ingredient has a bitter flavour, but the leaves have no distinctive scent!

SUGGESTED USE

Steep in boiling water with a blend of other herbs, strain, sweeten and serve as a healthy herbal tea.
